Computational and Quantitative Biology PhD

Maria Claudia graduated in Genetical and Molecular Biotechnology at University of Sannio, Benevento.
During her Master Thesis internship she improved her programming and computational skills, focusing in particular on the application of Machine Learning strategies based on Feature Selection in biomarker discovery in Breast Cancer.
Currently she is a Ph.D. student at Federico II, University of Naples, in Computational and Quantitative Biology, working with the Bioinformatic Lab at Biogem - Institute of Genetical Researches.
She is currently focusing on the implementation of bioinformatics and machine learning strategies for target prediction on several omics data related to Immune Responsiveness in cancer and on the
application of Feature Selection algorithms for biomarkers and drug discoveries.
