Computational and Quantitative Biology PhD

Luigi received his Bachelor and Master’s degree at Sapienza, University of Rome. During his first thesis he has explored the modeling and simulation field applied in the biological area. During his highest degree, he has gained knowledge in computational biology, in particular analysing the system biology. In order to put into practise these studies, he has completed his Master thesis on Drug Repurposing.

Currently he is a Ph.D. student at Federico II, University of Naples, in Computational and Quantitative Biology, working with the Bioinformatic Lab at Biogem. His main research areas are Drug Repurposing and Drug Targeting applied to Cancer, deploying Machine Learning algorithms with numerous -omics data, and Single Cell in development stages of Cancer.
