Luigi Laezza obtained his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master of Science in Data Science both at University of Naples - Federico II. He has a passion for logic and reasoning and these is combined with a passion for computers, technology and innovation.
The Mathematical degree's thesis concerns the study of the Fast Fourier Transform algorithm (FFT), while the MScs thesis concerns the development of a Deep Learning method for a real Computer Vision problem, commissioned by the Company Sensoria Health Inc. Luigi has experience in statistical data analysis and machine learning, developing his skills also in an internship at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Braunschweig, Germany.
The new challenge he has set himself is to use all his skills for the develop of the new field of personalized medicine. Since November 2021 he is a PhD Candidate at University of Naples - Federico II - working in the Biogem bioinformatics group led by professor Michele Ceccarelli, supervised by Professor Flora Amato.
